How can I book an apartment ?

You can make a booking request online (at nexity-studea.com), by calling 0 820 830 820 (€0.09 per minute + cost of call), or on site by contacting the residence manager of your choice.  

Can I book for a short-stay ?

Depending on the period and availability, NEXITY Studéa offers Short-Stays which can be adapted to the exact duration of your stay (with a la carte services)  

Are apartments only for students?

Nexity Studéa offers accommodation for students, but also young workers, trainees or people requiring temporary accommodation.    

Can you contact us from abroad ?

If you area calling us from abroad, you can call, charged at a local rate : +33 1 85 55 13 12.  

How can you monitor and follow the creation of a file ?

To update and monitor the stages of your request, simply log on to your personal area. Your details will be stored until completion.

Can a child rent a NEXITY Studéa apartment ?

With the consent and signature of the legal representative on the rental agreement, a child may rent a Studéa residence.

What formalities do you need to do to receive ALS ?

You should make your request with the Regional Family Allowance Office (CAF) to receive the “Rental Certificate” form. This document should be completed and sent to the NEXITY Studéa registered office, and will then be returned by post for your CAF file.  

Are costs included in my apartment rental ?

Depending on the residence, the rent includes your water use and rental costs. Some residences also offer collective heating and hot water. This information is available on the website and by calling 0820 830 820 (€0.09 per minute + cost of call).  

Should I make provision for additional rental costs ?

It is compulsory to take out insurance, residency tax if you reside in the apartment as at 1 January and electricity for some residences.  

Do you need to pay a security deposit for student accommodation ?

Yes, this amount varies in line with the type of accommodation and the city.  

Is it possible to change Studéa student residence ?

The Studéa “residence transfer” service allows for mobility between residences in the NEXITY Studéa network. For this you should send a request by mail to studea-resiliation-transfert@nexity.fr (or by letter) indicating your destination. Nexity Studéa will handle your case. The contract will be directly sent to you by email. Do not hesitate to contact someone in your residence to undertake an inventory upon arrival and departure.  

Can I receive accommodation allowance for a Studéa student apartment ?

Social accommodation allowance is open to tenants of an apartment not covered by the APL allowance, which is the case of accommodation managed by Nexity Studéa. The CAF (Family Allowance) website allows you to perform a simulation.            

Is joint rental authorised ?   

Some one bedroom or specific accommodations are available for joint rental. Studios and individual bedrooms are not suitable for joint rental.  

Is it possible to host guests ?

As a person renting private accommodation, you are allowed to receive guests under your responsibility. Please note that it is important not to disturb neighbours.  

Is it possible to sponsor new tenants ?

If there is still accommodation available, sponsoring a friend will give you the chance to win €300 off your future rent. A reduction will also be granted to the person you sponsor. 

Can you move in sooner ?

This is possible under certain conditions: If you have received a rental agreement, you should contact your accommodation manager as soon as possible to indicate a change in circumstances. If you have a file online, you can amend, delete or complete your booking.  

Is it compulsory to take out accommodation insurance ?

Nexity STUDEA offers Multi Risk Accommodation Insurance for just €2.40 per month over a selection of residences. This is an advantage as it will allow you to avoid administrative formalities and to receive competitive rates. You can take out external insurance. In all instances, this insurance is compulsory.  

What are the terms and conditions for reimbursement of my deposit ?

Where no damage is observed at the time of drafting the inventory upon leaving the premises, your security deposit will be reimbursed within one month by bank transfert. If there are costs for repairs, this will be extended to 2 months.  

How can you terminate your lease ?

In order to inform Studéa of your departure, simply send a Recorded Delivery Letter with Acknowledgement of Receipt signed by the tenant to the Nexity Studéa registered office.  

How do you prepare an inventory upon arrival and departure ?

To best prepare your departure, you can ask the Studéa manager to perform a pre-inventory.
